Our own in house telemetry solution offers real-time data access to enable customers to make informed decisions about service scheduling, location, vehicle status and any user selectable inputs.

This system has been used extensively on Barloworld Handling’s Hyster Forklifts as an extensive fleet management system, assisting materials handling customers to continually improve overall fleet performance. Through the use of a call centre and online interface, it is capable of offering analysis and online reporting through variables such as runtime, hours of usage and maintenance scheduling.

The system is a GSM based system however satellite communication can be integrated for remote applications throughout Africa. We have units operating as far a field as the United Kingdom, Angola, Madagascar and the United States with identified further growth potentials in all these areas.

Developed in house means Barloworld Power has the ability to adapt the product to a variety of customer applications and is currently also being utilised extensively on electric power generators and rental fleet earth moving machinery through a division of Barloworld Equipment.
